Location

This large self-catering villa is in the beautiful Sabinal valley, close to the small town of Alora, yet only 40 minutes from Malaga airport with its frequent flights.

The villa is in a very private location up a private track, so a car is essential. Economical car hire is available from Malaga airport.

This villa is well-placed for visits to places of interest - Granada is a stunning city only two and a half hours away, beautiful atmospheric Ronda is 90 minutes drive and the local town of Alora will be your regular choice for cafes and restaurants only 15 minutes away. Malaga is also an interesting and vibrant city often overlooked by the traveller keen to get away from the airport. Further afield are the great cities of Cordoba and Seville, for the longer day-trip.

Nearby there are superb walks and drives in the hills and mountains, and it is possible to see many wild birds including the huge Griffin vultures, and on the nearby hills there are Ibex. Close to the villa goatherds and shepherds walk their flocks, their bells ringing in the clean air.

There are vast lakes nearby and a staggering gorge at el Chorro where you can see rock-climbers testing their skills. Mountain-biking, horse-riding and quad-biking are all available locally.
